Saylor Storm, Lake Tahoe Romance Author, Helps Raise Heart Awareness and Funds

“Love, Stimulating Trivia & Other Arousing Bits” is a fun trivia book

with a portion of sales going to the American Heart Association.

Lake Tahoe, NV – January 27, 2015 – Author Saylor Storm pens Suspense-Romance novels. But, after being prompted by her fans to put her Facebook love trivia posts into a collection, she created “Love, Stimulating Trivia & Other Arousing Bits.” The book will be released in time for Valentine’s Day, but Storm is also committed to using the book sales help bring awareness to heart disease in women. Author Storm also is presenting her collection of books on February 13 from 10 a.m. to noon during the Reno American Heart Association Health and Wellness EXPO, because laughter is good for your heart!

A mixture of lighthearted interesting, strange and sometimes thought-provoking trivia on matters of the heart, the book Love, Stimulating Trivia & Other Arousing Bits,  is a perfect gift for your special someone on Valentine’s Day.  But, as Storm discovered, heart disease, no laughing matter for women.

“I went into writing this book with the idea of giving a portion of my sales to a worthy charity. After a friend reminded me that February is American Heart Month, I decided to donate a portion of the proceeds to the American Heart Association.”

Then Storm being a writer started researching the facts about women and heart disease.

“What I discovered is darn right scary,” Storm says. “The information on the AHA website really opened my eyes. One in 31 American women dies from breast cancer each year, while one in three die of heart disease. And, the symptoms of heart disease are different in men and women.”

Something that may make you laugh, or at least smile are a few of the fun facts from Love, Stimulating Trivia & Other Arousing Bits show just how crazy love trivia can be:

• Women are most attracted to a man wearing blue
• Men like any color nail polish as long as the nails are manicured and neat.
• The typical person spends about 600 hours having sex between the ages of 20 and 70.
• 12% of adults have had sex at the workplace.
• One in ten European babies is conceived in an IKEA bed.
• The brain gets a similar “hit” from love as it does from cocaine.

Storm adds, “I feel it is a fitting connection, having a book that is a collection of love trivia, help bring awareness of this serious disease. If you love someone, you worry about their health, and heart disease is almost a silent killer of women.”

The book signings take place at non-bookstore locations around Reno and Lake Tahoe.
